Sophie Huang
Sophie was a registered nurse in China as well as in New Zealand. She was inspired by the result of using Chinese herbal medicine for herself when she was young and her interest in Traditional Chinese Medicine grew stronger after experiencing a health problem during the postnatal period which was resolved by having acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine. She went on to study at the NZ School of Acupuncture and TCM where she gained Bachelor of Science in Acupuncture in Wellington.
Sophie is passionate about treating patients with internal health problems as well as patients with dermatological problems such as eczema. She believes the therapeutic effects of acupuncture in conjunction with evergreen herbs not only support the healing process of the body, but also brings the human body back to a relatively balanced state.
